It is almost certain that once we have faced a blank page or pages that are not designed properly in a website, we leave that page as soon as possible and try other websites. Also page loading time is so important. If it takes forever to load the page then we don't even bother to wait and close the page. How do we make our websites quick to load, attractive, and more attractive? Well, basically, everything is try-and-fail because it is not possible to satisfy all your visitors. First, you need to define your target visitors and design your page. Based on the feedback you receive from your website, you can change the configuration until it fits your visitor's need. There sure will be people out there who complain about the page design, user functionality and page loading time. Page loading time may also depend on the user's internet speed. The power of good design is in its simplicity. Define the essence. When final design seems too simple for the amount of time devoted, VOILA! Your job is already done.

3 - Design for connections via modem.
The most important aesthetic consideration is the loading speed. If your website takes too long to load, leave everything aside and go back to reduce the file sizes and make necessary changes to the codes.
4 - Texts. Bored?
When you touch diagramming texts, READ THEM FIRST. Think about how someone with less interest than yours, could take a look. Another thing that is helpful is the width of the texts. Often there are websites with their texts running from the end of the page. ¿How do you read that??? It is best to keep the text width at 400 pixels, or at least a third of your screen.
5 - More color and graphics, fewer flash and effects.
Clip-arts, vector shapes and colored tables looks perfect on your site. If you add flash files and other effects to your website, your visitors may not have the extensions to display those flash files and effects. It is a waste of time to make those flash effects if your visitors can not see it. And also, the text and info in flash files can not be read by the search engines so they can't use those information to categorize your website.
6 - You have 3 SECONDS!
You have 3 seconds to convince a user to not use the BACK button on your browser. THREE SECONDS. Then put all your efforts so that what you want to display on a web page appears immediately and in an interesting way.
7 - Focus on what matters.
Users do not care at all how it works and navigate within your site, just arrived there for its content. Give them quick and simple instructions.
8 - Learn-learn.
Keep learning new technologies. The web never stands still, so spend your time on what is new.
9 - Define your problem.
The design is about solving problems, facing a question of communicating with a goal. Define what is yours and you have half the problem solved.
10 - Learn the principles of navigation.

11 - Seek inspiration.
Talk with people that are outside of your targeted visitors. The web designers, for example, can give a whole new perspective of web design, maybe they can change the way your website works. They transform web pages into "web sites"
